ATV manufactures a full range of Through Conduit Double Expanding Gate valves for on-land applications in the Oil & Gas production, processing and transmission.
Through Conduit Double expanding Gate Valves are double block and bleed valves as they can grant zero leak towards the body cavity with pressure on the upstream and downstream side, even when the valve is fully open. Solid particles cannot penetrate into the body, both when the valve is in the open or in the close position. Furthermore, they provide superior bubble tight sealing capabilities and unmatched robustness in harsh services with high pressure and high temperatures. The full bore through conduit design minimizes the turbolence of the flow and when the valve is open the pressure drop is equivalent to that produced by a pipe with the same diameter and length. Moreover, the valve is perfectly suitable for pigging operations.
ATV supplies the through conduit double expanding gate valves in a wide range of materials and configurations to meet any specific need of the application and customer's requirements. Optional features are available for seat and stem seals, hardfacings and end connections. Materials are sourced from qualified suppliers on the base of specifications that reflect the industry standards (API, ASTM, NORSOK, BS, DIN or others), but do also incorporate additional requisitions resulting from long experience.
Through Conduit Slab Gate valves are suitable for manual operation or for power assisted operation. ATV takes full responsibility in selecting the most suitable size for operating conditions. However, ATV welcomes customers supplied items too: in such a case ATV responsibility is limited to the assembling of the actuator on the valve and testing of valve and actuator system. On request, ATV may participate in the actuator selection together with the customer.
ATV designs, manufactures and tests its products in accordance with all the relevant Industry standards and codes (ANSI, API, ASME, BS, ISO, NACE, PED and others). ATV through conduit double expanding gate valves can be manufactured to conform up to product specification level PSL 3/3G.
